Aluminum Work

Custom Aluminum Covers

LaClà’s aluminum covers are designed and crafted using traditional aluminum processing techniques, which, combined with the practicality of compact polycarbonate sheets (the true alternative to glass), give rise to high-quality solutions.

Depending on the intended use, our aluminum technicians and craftsmen will create models that perfectly adapt to the style of the place where they will be installed.

These types of covers are highly sought after, especially by those looking for solutions for covering entrances of companies, loading and unloading points, hotel entrances, and much more.

Perfect for protecting against sun and rain, they stand out for their high resistance to weathering agents; but, at the same time, they maintain an attractive style that adapts to various contexts.

Furthermore, it is possible to customize them with any type of RAL color shading.

As with every one of our products, the customer will be supported by our technicians at every step, from choosing the model to installation.

Having originated as manufacturers of aluminum fixtures, we have a window bending center where we produce all kinds of curved fixtures for both civil and industrial purposes. Many times, our own dealers turn to us for the bending of fixtures for their own customers.

Why do we use polycarbonate instead of Plexiglas?

Compact polycarbonate, being a high-quality material, brings numerous advantages that Plexiglas, due to the characteristics of its simple and low-cost materials, does not possess.

Compact polycarbonate sheet is the most scratch and impact-resistant plastic material available; it does not chip or shatter, being up to 17 times stronger than Plexiglas.

This makes it ideal for the construction of shields and covers in both building and industrial contexts. It has transparency comparable to glass but with a significantly lower weight, and unlike Plexiglas, its special UV treatment on both sides preserves it from possible yellowing due to sunlight exposure.

Polycarbonate, with its good degree of flexibility and shatter resistance, is much stronger than Plexiglas even when subjected to weight. Plexiglas, when exposed to the outdoors and subjected to solar radiation, tends to yellow, harden, and crack.
